Prior to MortgagEase, Katie was employed by Salomon Smith Barney, Emerging Markets Desk in New York City. She acquired much of her market and product knowledge from trading and tracking whole loan mortgage products. Her duties included making margin calls to counter parties when market fluctuations exceeded allowable margin overages, tracked & paid interest earned to counter parties on restructured loans sold by traders.

Prior to New York City, Katie enjoyed a real estate career in Naples where she resided for 7 years after college. She received her Bachelor’s of Art Degree from Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina in 1991.

Katie was raised in Naples and attended the local schools. She has seen so much change over the years but believes the growth is good for Naples. She has been married for 8 years and has one son named Jack (2).

Katie loves a challenge and continually looks to improve the processes. She believes that any problem presented to the company allows an opportunity to improve, this is evident throughout the company philosophy.
