After Amber graduated from Pennsylvania State University she decided to pursue her career in the mortgage lending industry. She moved to Southwest Florida and obtained her Florida Mortgage Broker’s License. Her decision proved to be a good one as Amber is consistently a top producing loan officer at MortgagEase, Inc.

She has reached this level through diligent work ethics and a strong commitment to making customer service paramount. Amber has been in the industry for four years now and constantly attends seminars and continued education courses to further her knowledge in the business.

The main goal with all of her loans is to build a relationship with the customer that lasts long after the closing of a new home or refinance. People’s lives constantly change, the market changes, new opportunities arrive in one’s life. All these factors make it critical for the relationship between loan officer and customer to continue much past the closing. Amber makes it a requirement of hers to touch base throughout the year with all of her clients. This keeps the customer informed of rate changes, new programs or opportunities that may be available now that were not in the past.

Another strength that is a benefit to customers is the great relationship maintained with lenders and their staff. Amber feels it is important to keep a close professional relationship with lenders in order to know their programs and requirements. Our industry is forever changing and we must stay abreast of the financial market. The ability to follow the real estate market, buying and selling trends, local economy as well as the national level all are important factors in our industry.

Another aspect of our business is to really analyze the borrower’s situation and to determine what their short and long term goals are. What other financial obligations do they currently have and how will it affect a new mortgage. There and many more questions in building the foundation of the borrower’s financial house, once a strong and secure “financial” home is built it allows for peace of mind in purchasing or refinancing the real home!

In addition to enjoying her work Amber loves life in Southwest Florida and tries to take advantage of our beautiful tropical paradise through various activities and serving with local charitable organizations.
